GOTS participated as an Exhibitor in Heimtextil India, held in New Delhi, India from 25-27 June, 2015. The GOTS information booth witnessed high level interest and a large number of trade visitors. GOTS remains pledged to increasing awareness about certified organic textiles in home textiles. GOTS was also the ‘Knowledge Partner’ for ‘Seminar on Sustainability’, held on 26th June, 2015. The seminar focused on the future of Sustainable Home textiles. It gathered representatives from across India which provided them the opportunity to share their deep knowledge and experiences about the sustainable practices being followed in home textiles sector. The highlight of the seminar was the panel discussion entitled ‘Sustainability from Fibre to Textile – Challenges and Way Forward’ moderated by Mr. Sumit Gupta, which offered a great opportunity for the audience to discuss the issues related to sustainability to further increase their understanding of the subject.
