The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) will participate in the Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics taking place from June 5 to 7, 2024, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), China. Non-profit Global Standard, in charge of managing GOTS, will have a booth at the exhibition and will also have a speech at the seminar session alongside the trade show.

This is the first time that Global Standard is participating in Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics. The exhibition is located in Shenzhen, the core city of Guangdong Province, a major textile industry hub in South China, covering the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and closely connected to Hong Kong, a global fashion sourcing center. Its unique geographical advantages will make the exhibition more vibrant. For Global Standard, it is crucial to establish connections with the industry and partners here, promoting GOTS and its latest standard updates and policies.Exhibitors and visitors at the exhibition can engage in face-to-face business negotiations with numerous outstanding textile companies from domestic and abroad, experiencing unlimited business opportunities. International exhibitors bring high-quality fabric and accessories products, enhancing the exhibition’s appeal. As Ms. She Shihui, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. said, "The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), especially Shenzhen, is one of the most important regions for textile production, export and consumption in the world, and also a hub for sustainable development and innovative technologies."
