GOTS joins German Partnership for Sustainable Textiles

A German Partnership for Sustainable Textiles was initiated by the German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Gerd Müller. Launched in October, the goal is to improve the social, ecological, and economic conditions in the supply chains for textiles and apparel products. Marcus Bruegel, GOTS Technical Director, and Claudia Kersten, GOTS Marketing Director, contributed in working groups as well as on the steering committee in the development of the Partnership, and GOTS is one of the Alliance standards included the Plan of Action.
